Serving the Community for 35 Years
A great ASA coaching clinic on February 19th at Petco Park. Get your ACE certification, required to coach all-stars. Register soon.
Most parents (80%) volunteer to help the league: board member, managing, base coach, dugout coach, statistics, field maintanance, opening and closing day. This league runs on the sweat of the parents. It is a great way to know your kids, your kids friends, and the people in your community. It is hard to tell who has more fun at the games, the kids or the parents!
Volunteering is easy: Download the adult registration and send it to us. We will train you to be an effective coach, pay for you to go to coaching seminars, and give you the benefit of years of experience. There is no better way for you to bond with your player
Board Member: We meet about once a month during the season, usually over some beers at a local restaurant. Parents of younger players are really needed to continue the good work that this league does. No experience needed, we will guide you through the tough parts.
Manager: This requires you attend all practices and games, develop practice plans, evaluate talent, manage the coaches. A lot of work, but very rewarding. This league thrives because of good coaching, so you will get a lot of help.
Coach: Help the manager in practices and at games.
Dugout Coach: Run the dugout during games. This includes leading cheers, making sure shoes are tied, make sure everybody went to the bathroom. The dugout coach does not have to attend practices, only games.
Statistician: Take statistics during games. The league will train you.
Field Maintanance: Chalk the field, help groom the playing surface.
Open and Closing Day: Help us throw a great party to start the season and end the season.
